Frequently asked questions

What is person-centred therapy?

Person-centred therapy is a gentle, non-directive approach that places you at the heart of the process. Rather than giving advice or analysing, I offer a warm, accepting space where you can explore your thoughts and feelings at your own pace. It’s grounded in empathy, trust, and the belief that you have the inner resources to grow and heal.

What experience do you have working with children ?

I have over 30 years experience working with children on a variety of issues including ADHD, Autism, Social anxiety, bullying and grief. I am passionate about promoting and protecting childrens mental health and helping them to learn tools and strategies that will help them throughout life. Alongside my Counselling diploma I also hold a Level 5 Diploma in Children and Young people, NNEB Diploma in Nursery Nursing and NNEB Certificate In Childcare and Education.
